Labrador Retriever Puppies for Sale

Loving and caring, the Labrador Retriever is one of America’s favorite breeds and makes a wonderful family pet. This noble and loyal breed is very trainable and loves to please his owners. They were originally used to help fisherman in Canada haul in their nets. So not surprisingly, this breed is an excellent swimmer.

Their coat is short and water resistant, wetting of the coat while bathing my take a few extra minutes.  Regardless, grooming is considered minimal. Baths should be given as needed and no clipping of the coat is required. Regular brushing will help reduce unwanted fur around the house.

Young Labrador Retrievers need exercise, at least 90 minutes a day.  It is recommended that the Lab have a fenced yard (or similar arrangement, such as an outdoor run or overhead tether) or an owner who is willing to take the dog for long walks every day.

Their average life span is 10 to 12 years.

Labradors can be three different coat colors; yellow, brown, and black.  If we do not have your desired color available now, get checking our website.  For more information on the breed visit the AKC website
