Bagel Hounds are a designer hybrid breed, a cross between a Basset Hound and a Beagle. They share characteristics of the two breeds, including a good-natured stubbornness and a penchant for following their nose once they catch a scent. They can be vocal but make an excellent family dog when the family has children or an active lifestyle.
