The Bloodhound is a very kind, gentle dog that is
excellent with children. Strong and bold, they are known for their
impressive sense of smell. They need plenty of exercise and make terrific
jogging partners. Be careful about letting them off their leashes, for they do
tend to wander if a scent perks their interest. Grooming is minimal. Their lifespan is 10 -12 years and weigh 90-110 pounds full-grown.
