Because the Cavachon coat is low-shedding, it will grow long if untrimmed. A Cavachon kept in full coat will require
daily coat care. However, most Cavachon owners keep the coat shorter,
in a "puppy cut," or even shorter. When kept in a shorter coat, the
grooming required for a Cavachon is only average, although monthly
trimming is then required.
