The Havanese is a lovable and affectionate breed. They are known for being easy to train and eager to please their owners. They have also been known to do well in obedience competitions.Despite their small size this breed is energetic, bouncy, and charming. Havaneses make excellent family pets and their jolliness will keep the family’s spirits up even on the glummest days. They grow to be 8 to 14 pounds and estimated life span is 10 to 12 years. Their coat is long, silky, and considered hypoallergenic due to its non-shedding nature.Although clipping is not necessary for this breed, daily brushing is needed to maintain the coat.
